Lesbos SOS, observational documentary for Channel 4 News, Katalyst Productions, 2015.

An observational documentary profiling the humbling humanitarian response to the European refugee crisis on the island of Lesbos by a British family, The Kempsons, who single-handedly responded to refugees arriving on their doorstep.  For months they struggled to give the most basic of humanitarian assistance to thousands of desperate refugees who arrived  in make-shift dinghies from Turkey.  The film is a portrait of ordinary volunteers struggling to cope with the biggest migration in Europe since World War II.

The film had a phenomenal response on social media and the cut-down version has had over 840,000 hits on Facebook alone.

The film was longlisted for an Amnesty Media Award in 2016.
